DESERT DIARIES Single Take Cinematics:

"Direction"

I filmed a music video project that blends the vibrant energy of EDM with the rich cultural essence of Rajasthan. The entire video, which lasts 10 minutes and includes four songs, was shot in a single take. The goal was to capture the energetic vibe of a DJ playing, with each movement of the camera reflecting the music's beats and drops.

"Lighting"
The shoot took place indoors, where I strategically used lighting to create a cinematic atmosphere. A spotlight was used to highlight the musician, making them the focal point of the video. Additionally, two side lights were set to blink in sync with the music, enhancing the dynamic and rhythmic experience.

"Filming"
Using a Canon EOS R6, I opted to keep the camera in motion throughout the shoot by using a gimbal. This allowed me to capture fluid, cinematic shots that complemented the music's energy. The biggest challenge was the lack of rehearsal, requiring each camera movement to be unique and perfectly timed to the music's drops, all while maintaining the flow of the single take."
